What is Broken Angels?
Broken Angels
Confessions
Written by Kimberly Morrow
Broken Angels, “Confessions,” is an autobiography based on true events that is written in a journal format. The first novel, Confessions, is the first series of five novels that I plan to write within the next two years.
The events in my life have literally left me broken and in 2009, Broken Angels, basically just started out as an idea, then I created an actual blog site for it. Several months later I gained over 575 dedicated readers.
Life is full of trials and tribulations and I am able to express my heartache into words that describe the moment by moment experiences that many other people can relate to.
My target audience ranges from the ages 18 thru 55, both male and female and attracts many readers from around the world according to my statistics page available through Facebook. The feedback I receive often gives me the impression that when I cry, my readers cry with me.
After studying a few semesters in journalism in 2009 thru 2010, I realized that my material is emotionally in depth and sometimes intense. There is no right or wrong way to present a biography or memoir because no one can live the exact same story.
It is with high hopes that my Broken Angels series will become more than just a website. In completion of my first novel, I am already currently beginning my second one titled, Broken Angels, “Vengeful Secrets.” It reveals an aggressive and more intimate side of me. It also reveals my December 2010 thru the present of my latest heartbreak. Intense but to the point.
Writing about my life is comparable to a long walk down a twisted path. Broken Angels is a journey through the darkest times that touch my readers, inspires them and makes them aware that they are not alone when they feel broken.
Time is like an hourglass and never stops. My expression is that somewhere in between birth and death, we will all feel broken at one time or another.
Broken Angels is not an ordinary novel with pages of words that imply an opinion on politics, include imaginary creatures or fantasy worlds. My words are real and almost alive when people read them. There is an honesty that keeps the reader in a flowing tune with every emotion I am feeling at the precise moment.
I am a part of the reader as much as the reader is a part of me.
