WHEN ANGELS CRY
WHEN ANGELS CRY
She learned to cry without tears and scream with no voice. Another mortal had benefited from her misery and it was a harsh, bitter truth with no concept. Her soul was corrupted by flesh-eating fragments of dis-allusion. Her trust had been betrayed and her promise of a new day had become a broken path straight to hell. That was her earth below. She gave a breath of life but died at her own expense. It became an emotional brawl between good and evil, honesty and deceit.
It rains because there are too many tears for heaven to hold. The twisted path of fate suddenly spirals downward, sending the angel into a maze of confusion causing her to black-out. When she awakes she is in another world. There is a dead end around every corner and she cannot escape her own labyrinth.
Pain is like a raindrop that condensates on a single leaf of hope. Depression is like a blood-sucking parasite that drains the angel of any faith she had running through her veins. Now she is a living corpse that flies by day and dies by night. Her heart beats without a pulse and her spirit bleeds without laceration. It is a tragic voyage to find peace.
The sky will blacken and the stars won’t shine. Her story has no happy ending but her ending has a story. Her wings will be cremated. Her chains will be buried. There is no wind when the shadows blow because nothing can disguise the silent storm from up above, “WHEN ANGELS CRY,”
